Backseat Taxi Napping, longterm documentary project (2018 - 2023)
tandem study of own memories and the people around me. parties, love, graffiti, nights out, dread, anxiety, forgetting and rewriting. photographs i took for myself to reflect upon and keep track of changes, became a depiction of these odd years we call teenagehood.
The title is inspired by the habit I had of falling asleep, while in the taxi or bus going back home after a night out, where I would fall asleep, wake up in front of my home and not remember a single thing until developing the images some weeks later.
